TOWER OF DELIVERANCE, HOUSE OF THE REMNANT!

We are more than a church—we are a house for the chosen, the set apart, the remnant! In this new era, God is calling His faithful to rise, stand firm, and walk boldly in His purpose/total obedience. This name change isn’t just a title—it’s a prophetic declaration of who we are and who we are becoming!

🔥 We are the remnant—empowered, anointed, and ready for revival! 🔥

Join us as we embrace this new chapter, lifting high the name of Jesus and advancing His kingdom like never before! The best is yet to come! 🙌🏾✨

Grace and peace be with you from our Lord Jesus Christ.

In these times of uncertainty and trials, I write to you with a heart full of hope and a spirit anchored in the promises of God. Our journey may be marked by challenges, but remember, our faith is not founded on shifting sands but on the solid rock of Christ.

The Scriptures remind us in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” These words are more than ancient wisdom—they are a lifeline, a divine assurance that our God is steadfast and true.

Though the storms of life may rage, let us not waver. Recall the faith of Abraham, who hoped against hope, and the resilience of Job, who declared, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” Their trust was not in circumstances but in the unchanging character of God.

I encourage each of you to nurture your trust in God through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with one another. Share your burdens and joys within our community, for we are stronger together, bound by His love.

May your hearts be fortified, your spirits uplifted, and your minds renewed. Keep trusting in God, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

Remember, God is in control!

Pastor Ronald R. McCray

Establishmentarian

A Month of Rest and Renewal - In House revival

This February, our beloved pastor took a much-needed sabbatical from preaching, teaching, and running our services. While we missed his leadership, our church family rose to the occasion in a powerful way!

Our well-equipped clergy and dedicated members stepped up, ensuring that every service was filled with the presence of God. Tuesday nights were especially glorious as different members of our congregation took the pulpit to share God’s Word. For many, this was their first time preaching, teaching, leading a service, or even taking up the offering—but they did so with grace and anointing.

It was a beautiful reminder that the church is not built on one person alone but on the body of Christ working together. We are grateful for every individual who answered the call and allowed God to use them in new ways. As our pastor returns refreshed and renewed, may we continue to support one another, grow in faith, and embrace the gifts God has placed within us all.

To God be the glory for a February filled with growth, fellowship, and a deeper sense of community!

Below, you’ll find notes and quotes from the powerful messages shared throughout the month:

  • Prayer Changes Things!

Hannah’s story in 1 Samuel reminds us of the power of persistent prayer. Though she faced daily adversity, ridicule, and deep sorrow over her childlessness, she remained steadfast in seeking God. Even when love and encouragement from her husband weren’t enough, she took her troubles to the Lord.

Instead of letting trials push her away from God, Hannah allowed them to push her toward Him in prayer. Like Hannah, we must remain unshaken in our prayer life, no matter the pain, disappointment, or discouragement we face.

Prayer is our strength. It doesn’t need to be long or elaborate—it’s simply communication with God. Whether in the car, at work, or at home, we must remain steadfast and immovable, trusting that God hears and remembers our prayers. Even if answers seem delayed, He has not forgotten us.

Keep praying. Keep believing. Prayer keeps you strong, keeps you holy, and keeps you connected to God!

  • The Power of Obedience and Submission to God – Daniel 6

Daniel’s story in Daniel 6 teaches us the power of obedience and submission to God. When faced with a trap designed to destroy him, Daniel remained committed, praying three times a day despite the consequences. His unwavering faith led God to shut the mouths of the lions, proving that when we submit to God, He fights for us.

    How Strong Is Your Submission?

    • What if you couldn’t meet at church? Would you still worship, pray, and declare Jesus out loud?

    • True submission means obeying God no matter the circumstances.

    • It requires seeking God, trusting Him, and being delivered into a deeper level of obedience.

Your “Yes” to God Impacts Others

In Daniel 6, those thrown into the lion’s den faced consequences along with their families. This shows that our obedience (or disobedience) affects not just us, but those connected to us.

    Obedience Brings Blessings

    • Some struggle with submission because of misunderstandings of obedience.

    • Romans 10:9 reminds us that belief leads to salvation—but full obedience leads to transformation.

    • To singles: Do not be unequally yoked. Obedience to God includes submitting to the right leader and life partner.

The Posture of Your Heart Matters

True obedience isn’t just following rules—it’s about having a heart that wants to obey God’s will. Submitting to His word brings favor, protection, and blessings.

Will you say “Yes, Lord” and trust that obedience leads to victory?

  • Obedience vs. Disobedience: The Power of Trusting God

Genesis 3 teaches us that disobedience comes from a lack of trust in God. Adam and Eve’s choice to disobey had lasting consequences, showing that obedience shapes not just our own lives, but generations to come.

Why Do We Struggle to Obey?

    • Lack of trust – We question God’s plans.

    • Fear of releasing control – We second-guess His instructions.

    • Doubt in God's direction – We hesitate instead of moving in faith.

    What Does Obedience Look Like?

    • John 14:23 – Obedience is proof of our love for God.

    • Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trusting God means submitting fully to His wisdom.

    • James 1:3 – Obedience builds endurance and faith.

The Cost of Disobedience – Jonah’s Story

    • Jonah ran from God’s command, but his disobedience brought turmoil not just to him, but to those around him.

    • Sometimes, our storms come from who we allow on our ship—associating with disobedience can bring unnecessary struggles.

The Blessing of Obedience: The Finisher’s Anointing

    • Your obedience in this season is unlocking the grace to finish what God started in you!

    • Whether it’s writing that book, launching that business, going back to school, or stepping into ministry, God is giving you the strength to complete your assignment.

The ultimate reward for obedience is heaven! Will you trust God, obey His voice, and walk in your divine purpose?

  • Obedience in Stewardship: Honoring God with What He Gives Us

Obedience means hearing God’s word and acting on it, while stewardship is our responsibility to manage God’s gifts well. True obedience requires submitting to God’s authority in a way that honors Him.

    Stewarding What God Gives You

    • Finances – Give to God first before anything else.

    • Possessions – Be mindful of how you manage your resources.

    • Health – Take care of your body as a temple of God.

    • Time & Talents – Use what God has given you wisely.

    Stewardship in Daily Life

    • Single women – Represent yourself with excellence (no bonnets or PJs in public).

    • Married or single – Be intentional with how you carry yourself and manage responsibilities.

    The Soldier’s Transformation: Learning Obedience

Just like military recruits are broken down and rebuilt, we must submit to God’s process of refining us.

    • Soldiers change their habits, appearance, and mindset to meet a higher standard.

    • They learn to submit to their sergeant—just as we must submit to God (our Sergeant) and our spiritual leaders (our Generals).

Once we learn obedience and stewardship, we stop looking back and start living by God’s standards.

God commands us to be good stewards in finances, health, time, and talents. Will you submit, steward well, and rise to the standard God has set for you?

  • The Parable of the Talents: Use What God Gave You

    • God has given each of us gifts—we are called to contribute, serve, and build His kingdom.

    • “Who is better at being me than me?” – No one else can fulfill your unique calling.

Trusting God vs. God Trusting Us

    • We often ask, “Can I trust God?” But can God trust us with the blessings He provides?

    • Proverbs 3:5-6 | Psalms 9:10 | Isaiah 26:13 – Trusting God fully means faithfully managing what He entrusts to us.

    Faithfulness Unlocks Transformation

    • 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 – Be faithful with what God has given you, and your life will change.

    • Deacon Pruitt understands his role as an example—our obedience impacts those around us!

We are all called for a purpose. When we submit, steward, and remain faithful, God multiplies what’s in our hands. Can God trust you with more?

  • In 1 Samuel 15, Saul received clear instructions from Samuel but failed to fully obey. As a result, he lost his kingdom. This raises a critical question:

Have you let something survive that God told you to kill?

To serve God completely, we must kill our "Agag"—anything that stands in the way of total obedience.

    Partial Obedience vs. Total Obedience

    • You’re either in or out – Just like when our grandmothers told us to pick a side when playing outside, God requires full commitment.

    • Partial obedience is still disobedience – Like not finishing a prescription, incomplete obedience leads to consequences.

How to Live in Total Obedience

    ✅ Keep God’s commandments
    âś… Live humbly
    âś… Pray always
âś… Study & meditate on the Word

    The Benefits of Obedience

✨ Brings blessings over your life
    ✨ Leads to healing
    ✨ Expands your finances
    ✨ Unlocks deliverance
    ✨ Conquers failure
✨ Releases miracles, signs, and wonders

🚪 It’s time to make a decision—step fully into God’s will or stay outside His covering. There’s no more room for instability in God!

    OR  Depending on space available

In 1 Samuel 15, Saul received clear instructions from Samuel but failed to fully obey, ultimately losing his kingdom as a result. This raises a critical question: Have you let something survive that God told you to kill? To truly serve God, we must eliminate anything that stands in the way of total obedience—we must kill our "Agag," just as Saul was commanded to but failed to do.

Obedience is not optional or partial. Just like when our grandmothers told us to pick a side when playing outside, God requires full commitment—we’re either all in or all out. Partial obedience is still disobedience. It's like stopping a prescription early; failing to follow through can lead to serious consequences. To live in total obedience, we must keep God’s commandments, live humbly, pray without ceasing, and meditate on His Word daily.

The benefits of obedience are undeniable. A life surrendered to God brings blessings, healing, financial breakthroughs, deliverance, and victory over failure. It also releases miracles, signs, and wonders in our lives. Now is the time to make a choice—to step fully into God’s will or risk staying outside His covering. There’s no more room for instability in God. Obedience is the key to unlocking everything He has promised!

  • Genesis 12:1-3 – The call to obedience and submission to God's will.

Analogy of assembling furniture – Just as following instructions leads to a finished product, following God's directions leads to His intended outcome.

    Key Lessons on Obedience:

    • We must become comfortable with being uncomfortable.

    • Quick action is necessary when carrying out God's assignments.

    • Obedience requires attentive listening and submission, responding with, "Yes, Lord."

    Challenges in Obedience:

    • Many get excited about blessings but resist the work required.

    • Questioning God’s plan can reflect a lack of trust.

    • Abraham’s example – He obeyed without hesitation, worshiping God even when led to uncertain places like Egypt.

Obedience under attack – There are seasons when it feels like the enemy is challenging our faithfulness.

God's protection – The Lord intervenes when we risk losing something dear while remaining obedient.

Final takeaway – Obeying God's will is achievable and is, in itself, an act of worship.

  • Follow the Leader: A Call to Obedience

In Genesis 22:1-19, we see Abraham tested through the ultimate act of obedience—the willingness to sacrifice his son Isaac. His unwavering faith and absolute submission to God's command demonstrate the true essence of obedience: complete, absolute compliance, honor of a request, and respect for authority.

As heirs and joint heirs with Christ, we are called to not only hear but act upon the Word of God. Obedience is a code of conduct, a divine principle that governs our walk in faith. Hebrews 13:11 reminds us of our submission to the laws of the land, while 1 Corinthians 14:40 and 1 Corinthians 7:4 emphasize the order and structure God has established for our lives.

Governing rules exist for our protection. Yet, there are hindering spirits—forces designed to erode the fabric of what God is doing in our lives. This is why we must humble ourselves and rise to the high occasion set before us. We are not meant to operate in confusion but in the system of heaven.

    Where Are You Seated?

There is no in-between in the Kingdom of God. Abraham modeled obedience. Moses modeled obedience. And Jesus, all the way to the cross, exemplified both leadership and submission to the Father’s will.

God desires a complete yes from us. Following the leader is not just a trend—it is a kingdom methodology. The world understands the concept of following a leader, but as believers, we must align ourselves with God’s divine order.

“Submission to God will cost you everything but will reward you with everything.” Are you willing to surrender completely? If you have strayed, do your first works over again and realign with God's purpose. The blessing is in your obedience!

Sunday Glory Nights

  • Isaiah 40:29

In difficult times, fainting, or losing heart, is not an option for believers. To faint means to become feeble, spiritless, or discouraged, and in the end times, many will struggle with inconsistency in their walk with Christ. Too many are spiritually asleep in dangerous times, but now is not the time to quit. Prayer has the power to change situations and the atmosphere.

Many assume they have plenty of time to get right with God, but the reality is urgent—"Breaking News: We don’t." It’s time to get our spiritual house in order. God has promised never to leave or forsake us, but we must go beyond reading the Word—we must live it and keep it in our hearts. There may come a time when access to the Bible or church gatherings will be restricted, so we must be spiritually prepared.

Jesus is our strength and our source of joy. When we feel weak, we must lean on Him, for He is the lifter of our heads. No matter the situation, He is always present. The Bible warns of perilous times, and they are already here. To endure, we must have the power of God within us.

We cannot afford to gamble with our lives through procrastination—God seeks a genuine "yes." He knows our hearts, and true devotion comes from within. God will not force Himself on us, but we must choose Him. Hell is real and was never meant for us, but it is expanding for those who reject God. Receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost is essential—living for God is a heart commitment, and now is the time to make sure we are right with Him. Time is running out.

One individual received the baptism of the Holy Ghost!

  • Tower of Deliverance is entering a new season where challenges that were once difficult will become easier. Due to the Pastor’s dedication and commitment to excellence, God is rewarding the effort put into running the church well.

Hebrews 12:1 – The Call to Endurance

    • Faith must be developed – It is the substance of our trust in God, and it must be tested and proven.

    • God often places us in difficult situations to strengthen our faith.

    • Job’s example reminds us that sometimes, God allows trials—not to harm us, but to build us.

    • The true test is not speed, but endurance—God is assessing how long we can last, not how fast we can move.

    • Stop blaming the enemy for trials—God is not attacking you; He is assessing you. Before God elevates, He evaluates.

    • Just like bridges must be tested before use, our faith must be proven before promotion.

    • Thank God for retakes—He allows us to go through tests again to grow stronger.

A Time of War and Spiritual Preparation

    • We are living in uncertain times, especially regarding government and global events.

    • God is allowing a season of war and judgment upon the country—not to create fear, but to call for preparation.

    • Like Daniel in a wicked kingdom, we must learn how to navigate through uncertain leadership.

    • Pray for leaders—that they are preserved and that God turns their hearts toward righteousness.

    How to Endure

    1. Remember God’s Nature

      • God does not fail—we must trust His track record.

      • The “cloud of witnesses” in Scripture does not mean they are watching from heaven, but rather, we can learn from their faith stories.

      • Seek wisdom from seasoned believers and reflect on past testimonies of God’s faithfulness.

    2. Remove Unnecessary Hindrances

      • Lay aside every weight—things that may not be sinful but slow you down.

      • Some believers are avoiding hell but carrying unnecessary burdens that hinder growth.

      • Time discipline is key—don’t just avoid sin, be productive in your spiritual walk.

      • Don’t let “small sins” lead you to a big hell—let go of what hinders your relationship with God.

      • The race is not about outrunning the devil but about fixing our eyes on Jesus.

    3. Refer to the Ultimate Example

      • Look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

      • Endurance is not learned through practice but by following a pattern—Jesus is our pattern.

      • Do not focus on worldly systems—Jesus is the only one who can do what we truly need.

    4. Remain Until Joy Comes

      • There will be moments of discouragement, but hold on until joy appears.

    5. Receive Your Reward

      • Jesus endured and sat at the right hand of God—our faithfulness leads to eternal reward.

    Final Takeaway

This is a season to develop endurance, remove hindrances, and keep our focus on Jesus. Trials are not meant to break us but to prove our faith. We must prepare spiritually, trust in God’s faithfulness, and endure until we see His promises fulfilled.

  • As we celebrate Valentine’s week, God reminds us of His unconditional love. For singles, there is no need to rush—trust in God’s timing.

Matthew 8:9-12 highlights the importance of being under authority—we cannot walk in obedience unless we submit to leadership. Genesis 1:26 reveals that God gave mankind dominion over the earth, yet many fail to walk in that authority. Adam and Eve lost their authority through disobedience, teaching us the importance of remaining faithful to God’s commands.

This season calls for emotional discipline—we cannot let our feelings dictate our faith. Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that true faith is not about church attendance or memorizing scripture but understanding whose authority we are under. Deuteronomy 28 promises that if we faithfully obey God’s voice, He will elevate and bless us. Walking in obedience and authority is the key to receiving God’s best.

  • Glory represents honor and splendor, and the body of Christ must fully align with righteousness. As believers, we live by different principles and should not take on false burdens from the world. God's authority supersedes man's limitations—He opens doors no one can shut.

The world does not care about us, yet we often care too much about it. Wickedness is increasing, but God shelters us with His glory wherever we go. In these end times, we cannot raise our children on superficial faith—true glory is not just emotion; it is transformation.

God has called us to do greater works because demonic influences are stronger than before. Old glory is not enough—we need fresh anointing for today (Psalm 11:5). There are only two sides: righteous and wicked—and God makes it clear that He hates wickedness but tests and purifies the righteous (Psalm 1:6).

    Righteousness vs. Wickedness

    • Righteousness means being just, vindicated by God—it changes our conduct and character.

    • Honor is key—our workplaces and lives should reflect peace in chaos, making others desire a relationship with God.

    • Wickedness is hostile to God, and Satan seduces us with seemingly harmless things. The wicked will not repent.

    Spiritual Refinement and Maturity

    • Zechariah 13:9 – Some struggles remain because they are refining tests, not demonic attacks.

    • You cannot carry more anointing than you have discipline—spiritual growth requires maturity.

    • God is testing and calling His people—we cannot take His word for granted or assume we have time.

The Call to Honor and Glory

    • Honor is for one another—we don’t realize the sacrifice behind each ministry gift; it requires glory to function.

    • Psalm 112:1-2, 2 Corinthians 16-18 – We must fear the Lord, stay steadfast, and live righteously.

Ultimately, believers must embrace refinement, seek righteousness, and walk in true glory—so that the world sees God through us.

April is National Stress Awareness Month: 7 Tips for Preventing and Managing Stress

Stress is a common experience for most people, with 77% of Americans reporting physical symptoms due to stress. While stress is unavoidable, there are effective ways to prevent and manage it.

  1. Practice the Big Three:

    • Eat healthy: Consume fresh, whole foods while avoiding stimulants like caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine.

    • Exercise regularly: Engage in 30 minutes of moderate activity (walking, jogging, swimming) at least five days a week.

    • Get enough sleep: Avoid electronics 30 minutes before bed and establish a calming bedtime routine (reading, meditating).

  2. Learn How to Relax:

    • Find stress relief techniques that work for you, such as meditation and deep breathing.

    • Try the 4-7-8 deep breathing technique: Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds.

  3. Put Your Feelings on Paper:

    • Writing down thoughts helps clear the mind and reduces stress by signaling that worries are safe to let go.

  4. Be Proactive:

    • Identify stress triggers and prioritize tasks to avoid unnecessary pressure.

    • Evaluate what can be delayed or delegated to reduce your load.

  5. Talk About Your Problems:

    • Confide in a trusted friend or professional to gain perspective and receive support.

  6. Do Something You Enjoy:

    • Engaging in hobbies, such as gardening, cooking, or playing a short game, provides a healthy escape from stress.

  7. Smile & Laugh More:

    • Smiling and laughter have been clinically proven to boost mood and reduce stress.
